Rendition Album cover

I took a shot of a sheep stood on the crest of a hill whilst on holiday in Wales and decided I wanted to make something with it seeing that it was a well composed photograph. The original image (here) was darkened out considerably but I managed to bring back a lot of the detail using brightening and gradient mapping.

I am pleased with the rugged rock texture extracted from the image along with the retro styled sheep figure that I managed to achieve through layering of the same photograph, but set to a different shades.
